Why expand onto the land? Why stop at the sky? When the real prize has always been the big blue. The ocean its been touched up quite a bit over the decades that Minecraft has been created, new mobs, new blocks, new structures. But something always felt missing from it. It never quite felt like an ocean and not because it wasn’t vast, but because it never truly went into the depths of the ocean. Places where light couldnt be touched or barely seen. Deeper oceans would be not only an exciting update but as-well as an adventurous one, with the new nautilus in the game the ocean feels a bit packed and small, it might be time to finally deepen the ocean and make the ocean a bit more challenging with new mobs like a possible drowned skeleton, who wields swords. Seahorses, new trident enchants, or possibly new gear like goggles to see underwater or air tanks to be able to breathe. Theres a lot to expand on in the ocean and i for one would love to see it happen and not just me but im sure there are a lot in the community that would love an update like this.
