Twisted Cape Acquisition Bug

I am a pre-order player of Minecraft Dungeons 2. The pre-order cape reward was one of the important reasons I decided to buy the game. However, after launch, many players who did not pre-order were able to obtain the cape simply by logging into a pre-order player's Xbox account. This makes the reward no longer exclusive and leaves pre-order players like me feeling betrayed.

I understand that launch bugs happen, but this directly harms pre-order players' rights and trust. I hope the official team can: 

1. Recover the cape rewards obtained through the bug, or at least distinguish them from legitimate ones; 

2. Give pre-order players a reasonable response, such as additional exclusive rewards or a public explanation; 

3. Fix the exploit as soon as possible.

    I strongly support this post.

    Unfortunately, this is not the first time Mojang has had serious oversights with cape distribution. The exclusive Java Edition cape was a major reason why many of us decided to pre-order Minecraft Dungeons 2 in the first place.

    It is completely unacceptable that people are now abusing an exploit to obtain this cape without pre-ordering, and worse, actively selling these illicit cape-unlock services on secondary marketplaces for profit. This completely diminishes the value of pre-ordering and is deeply unfair to the players who genuinely supported the game.

    We strongly urge Mojang to take immediate action:
    1. Patch the exploit permanently.
    2. Revoke all capes obtained through this glitch or unauthorized means.
    3. Penalize the accounts involved in exploiting, distributing, and purchasing these unauthorized services.

    Please protect the legitimate pre-order community and maintain fairness across the game.

    I agree with this post. I preordered the game just to get the cape and then now I see anyone can get the exclusive cape that I got legit??? Mojang REALLY needs to fix this
