This is somewhat similar to my idea of the end consisting of floating ruins of all the overworld structures, with noodle strands of end stone. Would make an interesting 3d map of the overworld and strongholds would be like a time link to their end dimension counterpart.

this is actually a really cool peace of head canon. I did already believe that Dungeons is based before Bedrock or Java, but I didn't realize that was why the End is such a wasteland now. It probably has something to do with the defeat of the Heart of Ender.

    ^ Thanks 🫂
I don’t know too much about the lore between the two games of Dungeons and MC, but I did also have a similar belief that dungeons somehow comes/shows what happened before ish the current END. Going with that thought, I used to think years ago that the End simply lost its resources from some event whether it be illager like mobs or players etc etc… different theories change throughout the years and either way I like how people/the community always have new ideas to share…
And To be honest with my idea above, I get Mojang can get a little tight when it comes to modern or sci-fi “technological” idea stuff like a “Time Machine”, so I just thought perhaps to be easier on Mojang, they could make a ancient structure or whatnot that we have to fix like a ruined portal and it can takes us to the “Old End” (to make this easier it could probably just be treated as a dimension/realm on its own but in reality it’s implied that it’s just the past). Either way I’m interested in what they will do with the place.
