Remove or reduce Rivers in Deserts

Deserts are known for being very dry places with very little water which is what makes them such unique locations in the world with even more unique animals.

Currently deserts in Minecraft don't reflect this, being cut up by many flowing rivers willed with squid and fish. Removing rivers or making them much much rarer in the desert biome would make it feel that much more unique from the other biomes instead of just a really large beach. It would also make for subtle story telling for desert wells to exist. Why go to a tiny little well for water when there is a giant river nearby.

All in all having little to no river systems would make the desert biome stand out a little bit more to players, accentuate the desert vibe, and allow more focus on other aspects of the desert especially when it gets its update.

    maybe even if any rivers remain they could be difficult to access due to being in canyons like with the Colorado river flowing through the Grand Canyon, or maybe that's just what badlands biomes are for

    Even in large biomes world generation the deserts seems to be flooded with water.
