Magic staff

So I have a idea where there are gems like sapphire that you can use to craft a magic staff that is either a ranged or male weapon and depending on the gem it is a different element so it does a different thing.

    Bro just invented Terraria in Minecraft 💀 "ranged or male weapon" my guy meant melee but even his autocorrect gave up. So now we got fire staff, water staff, earth staff, next what? Minecraft Avatar: The Last Airbender update?
