Golden Hour Update
An update focused on the desert and mesa biomes.
Desert pyramids could feature a Pharaoh mini-boss that emerges from a tomb and continuously summons mummies from nearby coffins until defeated. Killing the Pharaoh could reward exclusive items, such as a Pharaoh’s Staff or an item used to create a potion that turns hostile mobs against each other.
Desert villages could be expanded with unique palm wood, with palm trees growing mainly near water. Rare oases could generate with palm trees, tropical fish, and traveling villagers riding camels.
The mesa biome could receive large felines such as leopards and a new vulture mob. Feeding vultures rotten flesh could make them fly to high peaks and lay eggs in nests. Nests could naturally generate or be crafted with sticks, feathers, and straw.
Vultures would defend their eggs by attacking and knocking players back. Players could collect an egg, hatch it, and raise the baby vulture with food to tame it. Tamed vultures could fly alongside the player and attack zombie-type mobs, knocking them back.
Vultures could drop bones, rotten flesh, and brown feathers. Different feather colors could create different nest colors.
Finally, abandoned mineshafts in the mesa biome could contain a new exclusive mob.
