I’m planning to build an old, weathered factory-storage building in the basement of my home, and while looking for suitable wood, ebony came to mind. I was going to focus on using copper and deep slates, and while I found acacia wood that matches the orange of unoxidized copper, I realized there was no wood that matched deep slates.
If we can have black wood after the pale oak and the soon-to-be-added gray wood, wouldn’t we be able to create a stunning achromatic building as well? I really hope black wood gets added. In my opinion, the dark oak is too brown.
