Beaches would be a major and essential part of the Ocean 2.0 Update. The beach would be completely changed.
The first thing is wet sand. Wet sand would be any sand that is touching water on the beach. This is realistic, and it would also make building with concrete much easier for players who need a lot of it. It would be a really useful feature.
Beaches would also have a new type of coconut tree. The coconut tree would look different and more realistic, similar to real-life coconut trees. The tree would have coconuts that you could knock down, or the palm tree itself could naturally drop coconuts. You could eat them or use them to make a drink that helps with healing.
As for turtles, they would have more colors and new variations. They would spend more time swimming in the water, making them feel more alive than they do now.
And the crab, which was previously part of the Mob Vote, would return with its original special ability: increasing the player's building reach.
The beach would also have a 2D wave effect so it doesn't hurt performance, while still fitting Minecraft's visual style.
The water around the beach would gradually become deeper, going from shallow water to medium depth, then deeper areas, and finally reaching the Dark Ocean biome.
