Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    Terracotta is one of the most overlooked building materials in Minecraft, and stairs/slabs would unlock a huge amount of creativity for builders on both Bedrock and Java. With recent updates focusing on improving building options and player expression, this feels like a natural next step for Mojang to consider.

    This change is small, but the impact would be massive — smoother roofs, better gradients, more detailed structures, and more color flexibility for every type of build. Terracotta already has 16 colors, and giving it the same variants as wood, stone, and concrete would make it far more useful for the community.

    I hope Mojang and Microsoft take a look at this. Builders have wanted this for years, and it would be one of the most appreciated quality‑of‑life additions to the game.
