Please allow the shield to block mace

I play sword PVP and the new mace and spear is making sword PVP obsolete and I would love it if the shield or something similar could block the mace

    Wdym? The shield can block the mace, some players can stun slam if you hit with your axe to disable the shield and switch to the mace at the same time to deal damage.

    yes if they come at you from the front I have noticed that 75% of the time players come at you from above
