The End + Black/Ultraviolet Light

I think that The End should have ultra/violet fire. The question is whether it should cast black/ultraviolet light to reveal invisible things, or if it should be invisible itself until hit with black/ultraviolet light.

Additionally, does it create light, but not stop mob spawning (going along with tinted glass), or does it stop mob spawning but doesn't create any light?

I feel like the former is already taken up by tinted glass, but it would go really well with End Flashes, which are visible.

    Amethyst is used to make tinted glass, which blocks light, so maybe it could be used to only limit light partially, allowing black/ultralight through. This light could be very dim, like a redstone torch, or not visible at all.

    I think the fire should be visible itself, like the End Flashes. Plus, it wouldn't make tinted glass obsolete. If you just had normal glass blocking the room, and these lights on the other side, it would allow mobs to spawn on that side, but also on your side. And if you had normal lights on your side, it would go through the glass on the other side, preventing mobs from spawning. You would need tinted glass to keep your light on your side and the black/ultraviolet light on the other side
