A mode between peaceful and easy

This idea is my sisters.

She is new to fighting mobs and is trying to play easy mode but finds it a little daunting. she would like a mode where mobs still spawn but do not attack her unless she provokes them in survival minecraft so she can practice. 

I think this is a splendid idea!

    this will make it much easier to progress in the game too. You could still get required mob drops!

    I think it’s a great idea also for younger or newer players to get used to fighting mechanics in games in general I know my sibling has also had this problem.
