Dear Mojang Team,
Thanks for your long-term development and updates to Minecraft Bedrock Edition. I am a long-term player who spends much time on survival building, PVP and custom content creation.
This is only a mild suggestion for your reference. I fully understand workload, cost, copyright and platform rules. I will accept any official decision completely and never force this feature to be added.
Manually backing up worlds on mobile is very troublesome. Built-in OneDrive sync is unstable globally, and reliable cloud save is locked behind paid Realms subscriptions. Hours of hard-built worlds may disappear forever after changing devices, reinstalling the game or system failures.
Two low-cost solutions for your consideration:
1. Restore the in-game Export World button for players to save .mcworld files locally. This causes no extra server cost for your team.
2. Offer a small number of free cloud save slots for all players. Large storage is unnecessary; only basic progress protection is needed.
No matter whether this suggestion is adopted or not, I will keep supporting Minecraft all the time.
Thank you for your time and hard work.
Sincerely,
A devoted Minecraft player
