Description
Device(s):
Vivo Y02 (also reproduced on multiple other Android phones)
Latest official Minecraft Bedrock version
Issue: Minecraft crashes every time I try to join any external multiplayer server.
What happens:
Open Minecraft.
Go to Servers.
Tap any server (Hive, CubeCraft, FireMC, AppleMC, Minehut, and other SMPs).
"Connecting to external server..." appears for about 1–2 seconds.
The game immediately crashes to the Android home screen.
The game never reaches "Locating Server" or "Loading Resources."
What I tested:
Latest official Minecraft installed.
Multiple Android phones tested.
Different Microsoft accounts.
Different mobile networks (VI and Jio).
Different servers.
Reinstalled Minecraft.
Lowered graphics settings.
Result: The issue happens on every external server tested.
What works:
Singleplayer worlds work normally.
Friends can join my singleplayer world.
The crash only happens when joining external servers.
Expected behavior: Minecraft should connect to the server instead of crashing.
Additional information: I have attached a screen recording showing the crash occurring immediately after tapping a server.
