Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Deep Dark Loot: Sculk Ribstone for potion brewing

This rare item found in deep dark city chests could be brewed into a potion that would grant a 'gravestone' effect. Upon death, any player or mob with this effect will have some of their dropped items saved and stored in a "sculk ribstone block", just like sculk blocks store some experience

    This would retain the gameplay loop of running back for you items, but replaces some of the item despawn timer pressure with the pressure of progression. For example, the sculk ribstone block could require a higher mining level and take long to break, encouraging players to build up enough strength to recover their items safely, and preventing the discouraging experience of rushing back only to find they had just despawned.

    Having it be a potion effect gives lore/flavor to this item, while balancing its power and providing hardcore players a use for such an "gravestone-like" item\effect
