Galline Groves is a new forest biome filled with Scratchwood Trees, which have golden-brown bark, pale wood, honey-yellow planks, and smooth yellow stripped logs. Bright yellow chicken nests of all sizes are scattered throughout the biome.
The biome introduces the Seed Snatcher, a chicken species twice the size of a normal chicken with rust-orange feathers, a turkey-like wattle, and massive yellow legs. They aggressively peck Scratchwood Logs into Stripped Scratchwood and sprint toward dropped seeds, trampling crops and flowers.
Abandoned Farms generate throughout the biome and contain giant three-toed footprints, broken scarecrows, and dried wells filled with glowing mutation fluid or hidden basement entrances. Loot includes unique crop seeds, enchanted but damaged farm tools, and the Coop Blueprint for feeding troughs and incubators.
A new effect, Unseen Gallus, distorts vision, widens the player's view, and deals 2.5 hearts of damage every 3 seconds.
The biome's boss is a giant mutated chicken standing 3.5 blocks tall. It launches explosive eggs and every 90 seconds summons Seed Snatchers from the ground.
To summon it, players must collect 3 Chicken Heads by killing chickens affected by Unseen Gallus (45% drop chance). Placing the heads on three pillars inside a massive nest beneath an Abandoned Farm summons the boss.
