Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    I think this would make these blocks way to cheap. Still nice idea tho!

    Personally, I think a furnace-like “crusher” block that turns:

    * Gravel → Sand (perhaps 2:1)
    * Cobblestone → Gravel
    * Stone/smooth stone/stairs/walls-> cobblestone
    * Glass → Sand
    * sandstone -> sand
    * etc.

    would feel like a very natural addition to the game. It would expand the existing family of utility blocks without feeling out of place, and it would give players another meaningful automation target without requiring exploits like end portal sand duping. I would imagine it would require fuel like a smelter so it’s like an inverse furnace. It would also allow recycling specific crafted items (we’ve all accidentally crafted a bunch of buttons or too many stairs and then had nothing to do with them). It could be lossy in a way so that it wouldn’t be too OP/cheap.
