110% agree. A green wood set is needed, and this is the perfect opportunity to achieve that!

i feel like they should save green for the end or a fictional place  but a wood color change is needed so i wont mind as much if its green but

Or just add additional variation, we saw 2 types of poplar trees red and yellow ones, why not to make 2 types of wood. That's would be awesome, everyone loves wood

Yes! We need a green wood, and they made the poplar tree way too similar to the pale oak so I agree to make the tree green as that is its actual color. I hope they take this community feedback

This has to happen! We have about a thousand grey blocks, stairs and slabs already. Green is far more unique and much better for building.

As an aside, any tree types in the following years should focus on being unique colours such as yellow, purple or black since painting or dying wood will never be an option.

While I actually do think we need a grey wood set, I agree that poplar should be green. We really need a green wood set, and there aren't too many woods that are naturally green tinted!

There are TONS of trees that are a vague brown colour, that could be made grey since we already have several shades of brown.

There are even woods known to be slightly more grey like cypress or teak. Jamaican Blue Mahoe is a lovely blue-grey colour. Or they could even add a fantasy tree to the nether that's gray.

But there's only like 3 trees with a green tint to them and one of those is poplar.

I would love both a vibrant green (verawood?) and also a olive green that blends in with things like moss and mossy cobblestone - I think poplar would be perfect for that.

It makes no sense to me that poplar would be the set that's grey, not green.
