Occasional New Walnut Trees In The Dappled Forest

With the biome's Michigan inspiration, I think the Michigan native black walnut trees would be a really nice addition, with their dark and fairly purple wood, and their edible seed's, theyd be a wonderful addition. I believe they'd fit right in the Dappled forest with the Poplar trees, being an occasional alternative, somewhat rare but not too hard to find, as the ones around my home were always some of the largest trees, excluding the pine trees. Additionally I think it's dark purple-ish wood would contrast well with the ashy poplar wood set too!

    Ohhh I sooo want both black and purple wood types!!! An in-between one would be interesting, but I'd really like a nice dark black and a good solid purple separate. I wouldn't be opposed to an ashy purple as well.

    I hear ebony would be a great choice for the black wood color. So maybe black walnut could be the purple one! 

    I would love to see this idea added as an additional biome. Currently the dappled forest looks way too harsh and isn't generating well - it's so small I can't wander through it like I'm in autumn at all and that makes me sad :( I was so hopeful and looking forward to feeling like I'm in fall - my favorite season! 

    If we added more autumn biomes as a "autumn" type, they could generate together and make things look much better and more immersive. 

    They could make the pale oak an autumn type. I feel like it has the right halloween vibes. Maybe the swamp too. Mangrove swamp as an in-between warmer biome to transition it to something like plains.

    Right now I do NOT like how the dappled forest is generating in the middle of plains biomes. imo it should be replacing forest - not plains. It would make sense for it to generate next to/replacing taiga or spruce biomes - because it contains those trees. It should blend much better there. 

    I keep seeing squirrels requested to be added to the game and I think walnuts would be PERFECT to add as their food source, since we already have oak trees. (That drop apples, not acorns lol.)
