I would like to propose a new NPC for Minecraft: the Ender Golem, a majestic and semi‑mystical being that serves as a guardian and protector of the End. The idea comes from an intense dream in which a familiar dream‑spirit guided me through a Minecraft‑like battleground dominated entirely by Ender creatures. In honor of this spirit, I want to dedicate a new mob to him that reflects the atmosphere and meaning of that dream.
The Ender Golem would be a neutral yet imposing NPC that only becomes hostile if players disturb the balance of the End. It is larger than an Iron Golem but moves silently like an Enderman. Its body is made of obsidian‑like plates, crossed by glowing violet cracks that pulse in the dark. Unlike Endermen, it cannot teleport, but it can open short spatial rifts to intercept attacks or shield players.
Players who explore the End peacefully can earn its trust. With rare End‑Essence items, the Ender Golem can even be summoned as a temporary ally, following the player and protecting them from dangerous creatures. It never attacks Endermen and instead acts as an ancient guardian of their realm.
This proposal is not only a gameplay idea but also a small tribute to the dream‑spirit who inspired it. I hope this story will not be forgotten and may one day find its place in the world of Minecraft.
