Hello,
I want "options.txt" and similar configuration files to remain visible and editable for mobile users, especially on Android. Additionally, the current UI safe area restrictions should be improved so corner buttons, such as the top-left back arrow, are easier to press on phones with rounded screens.
Why?
"options.txt" used to allow access to settings that were unavailable in the in-game menu. Now the file is hidden, inaccessible on modern Android versions, ignored in many cases, or impossible to edit without root access. Even experienced users using ADB, Shizuku, or file managers often gets “Access denied.”
The current UI safe area changes also negatively affect touch usability on mobile devices with rounded screens. On my Motorola phone, I can normally adjust corner touch recognition for most apps and games through the “Games” app, but this game does not properly cooperate with those settings.
Overall, these restrictions reduce freedom, customization, and usability for regular players.
Please do this:
1. Keep "options.txt" visible and editable
2. Reduce unnecessary restrictions on accessing personal game files
3. Improve support for rounded screens and corner touch areas
4. Allow safer and more flexible UI safe area adjustments
Sadly, the mobile experience of the game feels like it is slowly getting worse instead of improving.
