As of update 1.21 the old shield stun mechanic was removed for no apparent reason. I wanted to make this post because of the recent changes in the Minecraft pvp community and there designated practice server have recently started to face problems due to the stun mechanic being removed I firmly believe that if majority big or small servers across the pvp scene in Minecraft rely on mod developers to keep certain features in the game that never had a problem to begin with the there is an obvious flaw in how some patch notes in the game have been handled. There are countless not only communities but kits in the game as of current that have large parts of there mechanical skill and enjoyment rely of the functionality of the shield and how people can abuse the fact shield don’t give an eye-frame after being disabled but after the addition of eye-frames it has made many of those same kits unrecognizable from how much they’ve changed in not only mechanics but enjoyment I truly hope you guys can get around to this post and make some sort of adjustment to this feature or outright revert the change adding back another layer of depth and enjoyment to the Minecraft pvp scene.
