Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Salt

So I had an idea for salt in Minecraft, first the way to obtain it could be to let lava drip from a dripstone stalactite into a cauldron of water, ideally boiling away the water which would leave the salt that can be right clicked out or collected through a hopper giving you maybe 5-10 salt per bucket, and then the idea I had for its use would be the snow preventing power of string but instead its transparent and you can walk through it and similar to the barrier block, its only visible and breakable if you're holding a piece of salt in your hand, that way you can have the snow proofing without the texture and you can't accidentally break it.
