Inland freshwater systems in Minecraft would be so interesting and fun to explore. This drop brings over culture and life from the United States and Canada to Minecraft, as mobs and biomes from other areas of the world have been more of a focus recently. Freshwater river systems have a bottom of either mud, gravel, or clay, and has a new variant of mangrove root underwater that the new panfish can hid in, similar to a beehive. The fun part is you can see them inside with an idle animation. The bottom also has logs with seagrass growing on them. Two new plants cover the shoreline in the form of reeds and cattails often hid in by the translucent fry, baby fish that hatch from fish spawn. There are a few new fish in this game drop: Panfish(species variants like tropical fish), bass, pike, and sturgeon. Bass have a new edible meat, and are aggressive toward tadpoles (but not frogs) which now inhabit the river systems. When a player comes close, they raise their spiny dorsal fin and stare until you get too close and they swim away. Punching them with their fin up does half a heart to you. Pike have two variants: a smaller one colored like a Northern Pike, and a larger one colored like a Muskellunge. The only difference in behavior is that muskies are aggressive toward most aquatic life, and the smaller northern is not. Finally for mobs, a green thin axolotl variant called a mudpuppy, a rare spawn in weed beds and rocky streams, a new biome in the form as a thin and shallow river.
