More blocks are always welcome in minecraft. Here are some suggestions.
A flowering grass block, with flowers built in to the texture that do not dissapear when blocks are placed on it, like fences.
Patchy Grass Block, with patches of dirt mixing with the grass.
Patchy moss, with holes in the texture that allow you to see to the block beneath it. Should also have vertical placement.
Tetra Petra, a rich dark soil, often found in the Amazon.
Prismarine gravel/pebbles. A form of prismarine broken into tiny pebbles, which would be great for aquarium builds.
Flowering moss. Moss with flowers, or tiny stems mimicking various forms of moss. These little stems could give off light.
Rocky grass, containing rocks in the texture to break up the green of the block, making it more interesting.
Various limestones and granite variants, in rich red, or brown textures, perfect for canyons or desert boulders.
Smooth Obsidian, having a smooth glassy surface, perhaps with wavy patterns.
Quarts Bricks, giving the Quarts family more potential.
Silt sediments, having a Grey texture similar but different to clay. Could have potential with archeology if given a suspicious variant.
Quicksand, like the powder snow but for the desert. Ancient Sand, a sand or sandstone variant with bones and fossils inside.
Rusty soil with a reddish hue indicating the oxidized iron inside. Potential source of iron nuggets.
