Dear Mojang Team,
I’d like to suggest a few ideas to enhance long-term engagement in Minecraft Java Edition while keeping its core freedom intact.
First, a global leaderboard system based on account “prestige” rather than pay-to-win factors. This could track rare collectibles, account age, achievements, and event participation, giving players a way to showcase dedication.
Second, a collectible system with cosmetic-only rewards such as limited capes, badges, and profile icons earned through events or milestones. These would act as flex items and reflect a player’s journey.
Third, integrate official Minecraft events directly in-game, allowing players to participate, track progress, and earn exclusive rewards.
Fourth, introduce a non-paid account tier or prestige system based on playtime, achievements, and events. Higher tiers could unlock visual perks like profile borders or name styles.
Finally, consider a simple in-game currency earned only through gameplay, used for cosmetics or event rewards—not for buying advantages.
These ideas aim to add progression and recognition without affecting gameplay balance or limiting mods, skins, or community content.
- Avoid pay-to-win mechanics
- Not restrict mods, skins, or custom content
- Focus only on cosmetic and social features
Thank you for your consideration.
