While it is an experimental snapshot, the ancient cities are very bland. There are large and long corridors that connect to nothing, and there are only 2 or 3 different chest rooms that have different variation, none are guaranteed to spawn attached to the actual structure, and may be out of the way in a corner. It would be nice if the ancient cities were more like woodland mansions in the sense that there may be hidden rooms, and the rooms of the structure itself are all connected. It would also be nice if there was a treasure room, with 1 or 2 double chests with random decent loot, like bastions. One last idea is using the ancient city to show off the new sculk blocks, like how jungle temples show of pistons, tripwire hooks, and dispensers, the ancient city could make use of the sculk blocks as traps to try to harm the player. The ancient cities are very nice, but they only use the same structures multiple times to make up the city, and they aren't very diverse.
