Sand is unsustainable in most Minecraft worlds. Deserts get decimated, and beaches torn up. There should be a way to make sand. I have seen and thought of a decent amount of ways to fix this, such as:
-Making soul sand into sand
-Husks dropping sand
-some way of turning cobblestone info gravel into sand
-Drying clay or mud into sand
-When it’s raining in a different biome, there could be a sandstorm in deserts, which you could capture sand from in the air in some way or another
-deserts refilling their sand (I’ll talk more about this later)
-Beaches having blocks turn into sand by the water due to erosion
Any of these would be a welcome addition to both bedrock and Java. Because a lot of people have to use obscure glitches to duplicate sand, but there’s also some other sand related things I would like to cover:
-sand piles, something like snow, how it can build up and make for better scenery, this is how I imagine that the deserts would refill again as mentioned above
-there is a limited amount of things you can actually do with sand, like make glass, and make concrete. Those are basically the two things you can do with sand. And that makes it so sand can’t live up to its full potential. I am talking about things like panning for gold, or black beach sand being iron rich like red sand, just not so oxidized. Also things like mixing with dirt to make better soil, or wet sand in general. The list goes on.
Thank you for your time.
(P.S. sandcastles)
