Worlds should be far, far taller. Since one block is one meter tall, that means that minecraft worlds are only around 400 blocks tall. The positive build limit should be 10x10^6 blocks up, and as earth’s atmosphere ends at 10 megameters above sea level, which is 10x10^6 meters, going beyond that limit should cause the player to suffocate because of the lack of oxygen. Terrain should have a generation limit of 50,000 blocks above y=0 to prevent mountains that are one million blocks tall. The negative world limit should be y=-6,371,000, because that is the radius of the earth. The world should also function like a Triacosiahexacontaterahedron (a shape with 360 trillion faces), the faces would end up being 10,000 blocks in area, so the borders wouldnt be visible in the terrain. Since the world would loop around, this would fix terrain generation issues as long as terrain generation is adapted for this.
