There are so many different trees that all drop their own fruits and other items. I think it would be cool if the trees that we have in minecraft all had a chance to drop the fruits that they do in real life.
- Oak - Most acorns but sense the oak tree is the default tree for the game i think that sometimes you can find a patch of them that drop other items like Apple, Achene Clusters, etc. until that tree has a specific variant
- Birch - Samaras which are the cool helicopter things that fall from trees
- Spruce - Spruce Berries
- Dark Oak - Acorn
- Pale Oak - not real but could be something cool like a rotten apple
- Acacia - Legume which are basically peas
- Cherry - most are breed to bloom the flowers but some have Drupe fruits coming from them
- Now jungle and mangrove already grow something like a fruit which i like. Jungle has cocoa beans and mangrove has the propagule so i think they did a good job their even though they're lots of different trees in the jungle that grow different things like the Kapok fruit.
These are just suggestions and i hope that they get added. When i went to reddit about more food they yelled at me about them not wanting more food but i wouldnt mind having 1000 different food items in the game :)
