Make yellow and red dye with sulfur and cinnabar

For convenience, these two materials, based on their color, make yellow dye with sulfur and red dye with cinnabar.

    Maybe. But it is a stone. But maybe you could make it, take the colour out, and the thing will just turn into normal stone.

    irl sulphur and cinnabar were used for dyes for centuries, although in modern times we do this less due to high toxicity.
