Currently, the Minecraft Bedrock "LAN Game" discovery feature appears to be hardcoded to UDP port 19132. In a home network environment where multiple dedicated servers are running for different family members or worlds, only the server on the default port is automatically discovered. Since console versions (Xbox, PlayStation, Switch) do not provide a native way to manually add a server by IP and port, this creates a significant limitation for local multiplayer setups.
I propose expanding the LAN discovery system to scan a small port range (e.g., 19132–19139) or to dynamically detect any Bedrock server broadcasting on the local network regardless of the port. This would allow families to host multiple independent worlds on the same LAN that are easily accessible to all devices without requiring third-party workarounds. As a software developer, I believe this would be a low-effort technical improvement that greatly enhances the user experience for local communities and power users.
