The new 1.18.10 update has caused a major change in bedrock edition that is extremely detrimental to gameplay for the majority of bedrock players. The choice to remove the furnace glitch removed an essential part of how we are able to play the game.
Without the furnace experience glitch, bedrock players have no good source of experience in the early game. Some of us prefer not to go mob hunting at nights for experience, or create farms for it. There are a lot of players who would rather focus on other aspects of the game. But without the furnace experience glitch, there's no real or consistent way of gaining experience. I know I wasn't able to beat the ender dragon the first time until I learned about the furnace glitch. Its also insanely difficult to mend any mending enchanted items without this glitch. This is because of our lack of ability to hold other items in our off hands. If we were able to, say, hold a pickaxe in our off hand while mob hunting, that would be at least a little better. But thanks to spawning mechanics, even with off hand capabilities, it would take 10x the time it normally would.
And Skulk isn't a solution for everyone because making skulk the good source of XP would require the average player to explore the deep dark when its here, even if they don't want to. I'vr heard this sort of things is not your intention so I hope you have any additional update you'll be adding shortly to make gaining xo possible again in the Bedrock Edition.
