This may not be a new idea, but this is the specific way I envision it should work.
Minecoins should be collected by doing specific things outside of paying, such as playing a certain amount of time (Possibly different amounts depending on game mode), completing advancements (harder achievements like beating the Ender Dragon give more than things like chopping down a tree. This would also mean adding the advancement system to Bedrock instead of one time achievements), or doing daily quests of some kind (Such as placing a certain amount of blocks, killing a certain amount of enemies, or playing in a world with a certain addon the player owns).
I do believe that Minecoins can still be bought by people who don't want to actually play the game they spent actual money on, but buying them shouldn't be necessary if you just play the game.
