Boats should be affected by ice that is below partial blocks

Since players and mobs are affected by ice that is below slabs, carpet, etc., I feel like boats should be too. For building this would be great, as tunnels and roads tracks could look much better as opposed to the light blue ice texture which usually looks very out of place.

While slabs and carpet are the obvious partial blocks that boats should be affected on, it could also apply to any block in the game that is below 1 metre in height, like dirt paths.

    Complete nonsense. The "impact" of ice on incomplete blocks is a software error.

    I know that both of these features were likely unintentional additions originally. But I also know that they are here to stay in the game, so I just thought that combining the two made sense. Or do you mean something else?

    I'd be happy with just carpet as it would allow me to decorate my ice roads, beyond that is a bonus.
