Green dye easier to aquire

Black and green dye are the most time-consuming dyes to collect! There have been many suggestions for other ways to make black dye but here are my ideas for making green dye.

I researched the history of dye colours and I believe Minecraft needs to help make green dye easier to aquire by following the history books.

To dye fabrics green, Egyptians first colored garments yellow with dye made from saffron and then soaked them in blue dye from the roots of the woad plant. Why can't we simply mix yellow and blue dyes to make green dye? Or what if hanging roots could be turned into green dye as simple as flowers?

Also, neolithic peoples in northern Europe did make a green dye for clothing, made from the leaves of the birch tree! Imagain if all those birch leaves could make green dye!

  Literally all you have to do to get green is go to a desert or mesa and farm cactus. You can pop the seed of your world into a seed analyzer to find deserts nearby.
  
  All you need for black is squid. They spawn almost everywhere. It's really not hard to obtain at all.
  
  If I recall correctly there are also villagers that offer dye trades? And wandering villagers have them as well.

  Yes, green dye is nearly impossible to get from it's primary source.

   

  Other means:

  Mixing yellow and blue dyes (yellow and light blue should make light green)

  Mining tree leaves with silk touch.  need several leaf blocks to make dye.  

   

  Can't we make black dye from ink sacs as dropped by killing squids?
