Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Redstone and Soul Fire Jack O'Lantern

There are currently three types of torches in Minecraft, but currently only one can be used to make a jack o lantern. These other torches should be usable.

A soul fire jack o lantern, like a soul fire torch, will glow with blue light, and be a bit dimmer. However, it can be used to ward off hostile mobs. No hostile mobs will enter a 7 block radius of the lantern. If they are in that area when placed, they will quickly exit.

A redstone jack o lantern will glow with a dim red light, like a redstone torch. It will also emit a redstone signal of 15 from the face, but will not emit from any other side. Unlike the other jack o lanterns, it can be oriented both up and down.

    The soul fire type is a great idea, but not the latter.

    The soul jack o lantern would be very representative, besides. I can almost imagine it! But maybe, just certain type of hostile mobs, or maybe just if they haven't initialized attack yet, because it could get pretty powerful

    I believe you had me in the first half  make it simple and why this is needed which i will provide I believe it should be as simple as soul torch blue light red stone torch red light and will act as just a red stone block now why variety the only time I have ever used a jack o lantern is to decorate my base for Halloween i could see my myself keeping the decorations around longer with this use the red one for Christmas and blue for spring but I definitely support this idea
