This new biome could be a new biome variant to the soul sand valley, like the warped and the crimson forests. This biome will be remnants of ancient soul sand valleys that have been burnt out or smouldered, and all of the souls within this biome have been liberated. In the biome, you will be greeted by a dark yellow fog, with hints of ash particles floating around. The biome will yield high concentrations of new blocks called smouldering sand and smouldering soil, that are dark yellow in colour, as well as patches of new dark grey blocks called an ash block and ash carpet. No lava will be present in this biome too, due to a new block called pumice that exclusively spawns in this biome that soaks up lava like the sponge. What’s also unique in this biome are new mob like events that occur exclusively in this biome called dust devils, that are miniature tornados that randomly move all over the biome and which deals damage and high knockback if a player gets too close. Another new mob could also spawn in this biome too, called Embers.
