As an former Java, and now bedrock player (on Xbox) I feel upset that all other versions of bedrock is able to import custom skins, recource packs, and behavior packs. Back when I played on java, I had the skin that I created myself. My own original skin that was unique to ME. And now that I am unable to play on java and have been having to play on my Xbox for years now, I still cannot use my own skin. I do not like being forced to use unoriginal marketplace content. By unoriginal I mean that most of the content is too similar and very limited. You'll notice that a lot of it is made up of things like "anime teens" this, "mobs in suits/neon" that, and among us knock offs. There's like 30 "anime teens" skin packs. I don't want to be forced to use this stuff as it is not for me. Minecraft is heavily about expression. And I am unable to do that to my fullest extent unless I am able to use the skin that I made all those years ago, that I put so much love into making. I always wanted to show my Xbox buddies the skin that I made that is MY skin. And nobody else's. Cause it was original. To add to this topic, on Xbox we are limited to marketplace stuff when it comes to behavior packs and resource packs. Behavior packs are horrible on Xbox for one reason. And that reason being the fact that you cannot use them in your own world, but are forced to use it in some world that comes with it. What if I wanted to play survival with a bunch of dog breeds? Nope must use the doggy daycare map.
