Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Deep Soil Block

Like the name suggests, the Deep Soil block would generate below y = 0 in place of regular dirt blocks. As with Deepslate, it would also take a small percentage longer to mine. The color of the block is a darker shade of brown, with almost a dark grey color as accents, and a much fuller breaking/placing sound. Has a small chance to spread/convert regular dirt into deep soil, only below y = 0, with a low light level, and air exposure.

    Other than it spreading, this idea is really cool. Minecraft needs a darker brown dirt.

    I was trying to think of an interesting way to make it a renewable block lol. Maybe surround Deepslate with 8 regular dirt to make 8 Deep Soil or another way to craft it?

    Cool, I love it! It totally support this idea, But honestly it shouldn’t be that deep, it’s kinda strange seeing diamonds with regular dirt. If you see diamonds, there’s high pressure around it too, so you can’t just see regular dirt that takes as long time to mine as the surface with enough pressure to make diamonds. It think should start spawning at Y 30 or something.
