In 1.19, there will be frogs that have different color skins depending on the temperature of the biome they spawn within; warm frogs are gray, neutral frogs are orange, and cold frogs are bright green.
However, I do feel like it's weird that a frog that spawns/exists in snowy and taiga-related biomes would be bright green.
I suggest that "cold" variant frogs should be brown to represent the Artic wood frogs.
According to the National Wildlife Federation: "Wood frogs are the only frogs that live north of the Arctic Circle. Adults usually live in woodlands and lay eggs in vernal pools. During winter, they take shelter in leaf litter."
Considering that the artic wood frog lives within the regions of the world that are most parallel to Minecraft's cold biomes, and artic wood frogs are known to live within leaf litter (like Minecraft's brown colored podzol in the taiga biomes), I think it makes most sense for "cold" variant frogs to be brown, to both represent an appropriate irl species, and to blend within it's Minecraft biome surrounding a bit better than bright green.
As for what to do with the bright green frog skin that Mojang already created, tropical biomes (like the jungles and lush caves) would be a more suitable spot for them. After all, there should be a distinct difference between "arid" and "tropical" frogs.
This concludes my suggestion, let me know what you guys think about this suggestion, or if there's any constructive feedback that can help improve this suggestion.
