I figured that since the next update would be the wild update, upgrading swamps would be a consideration.
I believe that swamps should have constantly generated ponds(not wetland but this could be used to modify them too.) Swamp ponds will generate around 80-90% and when they generate, there will be natural decors to decorate the ponds. They include:
- Cattail: the least common decor generated all around swamp and not only near ponds. However, there is more chance of it generating in ponds. It is considered a decoration block, so I haven't got any ideas for functions, however, you can actually farm them to get more!
- Cattail Rhizomes: used to grow Cattails. 1-3 drops per cattail broken.(Also edible)
- Common Reed: Generated massively around ponds, sways in motion when stepping on them and also slows you down by 25%. Also a decoration block. You don't need seeds or farmland or anything. It invades land fastly! Each block of reed can spread out 3 blocks in every direction. It can replace farmland, crops, and even fences!(You might have to use walls) To stop growth, place any block other than the blocks mentioned above around a reed to stop.
- Ferns( existing blocks)- it will generate all around swamps.
- Moss(existing block)- it will generate under ponds and around ponds. It will generate under reeds and Cattails. If a reed was placed on top of a moss block, then the moss block will increase with it.
So yeah, that's just some basic details I would like to see, comments are welcome too!
