Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Wadi Blocks

Wadis are a block visually similar to Mud and Sand. When it is raining, they act as a water source block, creating water, but do not turn running water into water source blocks. Can be crafted into Wadi Slabs. While raining, Wadi Slabs will waterlog themselves in addition to generating water.

How to craft: 4 Mud & 4 Sand in any formation = 8 Wadi

This will spawn in deserts, as dry rivers. 

Why add this? It will add a unique feature for deserts, it allows people to create builds that change whenever it rains; such as creating waterfalls, puddles, or rain detectors that can close shutters during the rain.
