Although the Ender Dragon boss battle can be long (without one-cycling with beds), the fight itself feels pretty easy in-terms of surviving, so here's a small list of things that can improve for that:
- "Ender Charges" should fire one at every player contributing to the fight at 0.25s intervals when targeting each player.
- The Ender Charges should be fired much more often, such as: whenever someone destroys an End Crystal, the Dragon has a 50% chance to fire one at them, with 5% more for each crystal they have destroyed. Ender Charges should also be fired to everyone within 24 blocks within the middle when the Dragon retreats from being too damaged from a Perch. (More examples will be further down the list)
- When the Dragon hits 2/3 of health, it only Perches 75% of the time and charges at players and throws Ender Charges more +150% often. When it hits 1/3 health, it spawns an Ender Crystal at the nearest pillar. It also Perches 50% of the time, and charges at players and throws Ender Charges +100% more often, adding to the last one. These perks don't happen again if the Dragon happens to get to them somehow.
- Players going into contact with the Ender Dragon receive 5 damage (Normal Mode) every 0.5 seconds while in contact upon the Dragon charging at them. If they hit the Dragon while it's charging before coming into contact will make the Dragon double-back and flee, as well as throwing an Ender Charge at them.
