Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

The accelerator enchantment in Minecraft

The accelerator enchantment is a crossbow enchantment from Minecraft Dungeons that allows crossbows to gain attack speed the longer that they are used (without taking them out of the players hand).

This would buff crossbows in a way that still keeps them unique from bows, as well as makes them a viable option in late game, since bows are much stronger in the late game at the moment.

I'm open to ideas, maybe as they gain attack speed they would become more inaccurate?

Also there would obviously be a limit to the attack speed (e.g. after 10 seconds of holding it down).
