I suggest adding in medium to large gates, doors, Portcullis and maybe even more unique options like drawbridges and Elevators.
At times I get really annoyed at how if I want to put an animal the size of a horse into a fenced area, I have to break the fence in order to get them in. The gates are too small to fit horses or anything bigger then the player through, so I suggest adding some customizable fence gate sizes.
Along with that I suggest a few medieval types of entrances, like portcullis, those gate with the metal bars that can raise and lower during a siege and a customizable drawbridge that can be lowered and raised during raids. These would be amazing additions to add difficulty to multiplayer bases so that it would be more difficult to raid another player's house or base.
We could also use some new things like siege weapons, battle type mobs like warrior and guard villagers, large ballista and even alarms, like war horns that sound off during illager attacks, monster raids or when a player kills a villager in town,
Another thing to add would be larger and more complicated towns, like walled off kingdom cities, or lords mansions in the wilds. We could even get things like actual quest mobs where villagers could send you to get something for them and you could earn more emeralds for trade because the trading system with villagers is still somewhat lackluster.
Some creatures could get revamped with new functions, like horses jumping low fences.
