Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Bark, bark armor, rope

You would receive bark from stripping wood logs. There would be different types of bark for the different types of tree. Bark would be used to create bark armor and rope. Bark armor would be equal to leather armor and would look like whatever type of bark you used to craft them. It would be useful for early game in case you can't find enough iron and for players who dont want to feel pressured to go caving immediately. Rope can act like an upside-down version of scaffolding, similar to weeping vines.
