Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Different ore types for different types of stone(granite, andesite, e.c.t)

We already have regular and deepslate ore varients, so why not add them for the other types of stone too! Granite, andesite, diorite, and maybe tuff could all have their own ores.

    Something I've done via datapack is on the stone cutter make it an option to cut down Granite, Andesite, and Diorite to their component parts, this allows a way to get nether quartz, cobblestone based on the recipes, I tossed in Granite=red sandstone, Diorite=-sandstone, and Andesite=clay for an added bonus. Now should that be a stone cutter or some other method is a good question (hammer tool is a common mod) but it would give some more utility for them without being game breaking and keep stone for ores. I agree through a lot of blocks need a little more functionality for certain play styles.
