Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Invisible Item Frame Crafting Recipe - Java (Phantom Membranes)

I personally feel like phantom membranes don't have much of a use once mending is on an elytra. I feel like making them usable like glow squid ink on item frames would be interesting. You could use one in a crafting table and surround it with sticks, or right click it on an item frame to make it invisible.

    Maybe not FULLY invisible so you can still see the item frame, maybe the backdrop is invisible but the birch outline is still visible.

    I don't think this should just be a java feature, but yeah using phantom membranes to make an invisible/transparent item frame could be cool. Another possible way they could implement it would be to have you right click on an item frame (that's holding an item) with a phantom membrane and the item frame will disappear. This would make it so when the item is removed, the item frame could register as empty and thus would reappear.
