Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Twisted Enchanting +

This would be a pretty large chunk of an update, as there is quite a bit of stuff that could be in it.

The idea revolves around an enchanting update, but not in the standard way. There would be a new enchanting table, that is exclusive to the nether. This enchanting table would be crafted using three netherite bars at the bottom, two pieces of crying obsidian, a new end item called an end Island core which only spawns very rarely inside of an end island with a city on it, and a new book that can be obtained rarely at bastion. This new enchantment table would be called the Twisted Enchantment table, and it would be a black, gray, and purple variant with a red eye in the pages of the book that opens when the player nears. This enchantment table would be able to upgrade enchantments on already enchanted items above their normal highest level, but only by 1 level (ig Sharpness VI, Protection V, or Fortune IV). In order to enchant with this table, the player would need to acquire some Twisted Crystal Shards, which can be obtained by building a cracked beacon, along with a ton of levels. 

The cracked beacon would be obtained by having a wither break a normal beacon. The beacon would become cracked after being destroyed, and can still be used with all beacon layouts save the largest. If the player makes the largest, the beacon becomes a shattered beacon, and all the blocks used to build it would turn to Twisted Crystal Blocks, which function = amethyst (Crystal Shards grow).

    Maybe also different types of crystals/ores, one unique to each nether biome. Players could use these ores to add a new unique enchantment to armor/tools using the smithing table.

    Although I understand this. This is way to complicated to be in vanilla Minecraft. It sounds like a mod that would be in a mod pack. There are too many puzzle pieces for something that isn’t even that overpowered.

    I would just have something that would just upgrade the normal enchant table ( like furnace to blast furnace). The recipe would have amethyst on the top left and right, a book and quill in the top center, the enchantment table in the center, and netherite ingots in the rest.

    Call the new enchant table whatever you want. It allows you to remove and add on enchants from books, tools, and armor.
